Off-Grid (Grid/DG Set Assisted/Standalone) Solar PV Power Plant
Such Plants are installed where either there’s no grid electricity available or, where the availability of grid electricity is very infrequent and less than even 10-12 hours a day. In such Plants electricity generated from Solar PV Panels are no way directly connected to the Grid. Normal feature of these Plants are Storage batteries. These batteries could be either Li-ION, Or, simply Lead-Acid Batteries of various kinds.
